Maya separates the guided church visit from the dome climb. The ENG - BASILICA TOUR + DOME option gives up to 20 people 90 minutes in St Peter's and the papal tombs.
The dome takes at least 30 more minutes after your guide finishes. The Basilica and Grottoes are free to enter independently. You still face 320 steps after the lift. The papal tombs visit excludes the Scavi excavations.

Tour or official ticket?
The English dome option costs from €55, against €22 for the official dome ticket with lift access. The difference pays for a licensed Basilica guide and faster church entry. Choose the official dome ticket if you are happy to explore the church yourself.

Once you book, we organize everything. Just show up at the office (VIA GERMANICO, 16) at the correct time (Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked departure time) where your guide will meet you with your ticket to skip the line and enter the Basilica.

St Peter's Square
St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro), located in Vatican City in front of St. Peter's Basilica, is a massive, iconic Baroque plaza designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini between 1656 and 1667. Featuring an elliptical design with massive colonnades representing the "embrace" of the Church, it holds over 300,000 people and features a central Egyptian obelisk.

- Please note that for the Basilica it is mandatory to provide the full name of each participant. Failure to do this could result in refused entry to the monument.
- If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
- The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependent on the monument/attraction’s administration offices availability and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
